I did not grow up in a Christian home, but I gave my life to Jesus in college, and he has been changing me ever since.

Professionally, I am a Professor of Leadership and Strategy at Trevecca Nazarene, where I also serve as Director of their MBA program. I also serve as the Managing Director of ClarionStrategy, a coaching and consulting firm.

​

I have served in a number of leadership roles, including church planter, lead pastor, international worker, Board of Directors (C&MA), and college president (Crown College).

 

Educationally, I have an MDiv from Ambrose University (C&MA Canada), an MBA from the University of Minnesota, and an MA/PhD from Ohio State University. I am also a certified coach with the International Coaching Federation.
